Dr. Drerup’s distinguished medical journey began with his undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. His passion for medicine led him to the Louisiana State University School of Medicine, where he graduated in 1983. He further honed his expertise through an internship and residency at the University of Tennessee Center of Health Sciences, focusing on general surgery and neurological surgery.
Board-certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery since 1993, Dr. Drerup is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His exemplary career includes decades of dedication to providing relief for patients suffering from debilitating pain, using cutting-edge techniques and personalized care plans.
